History
This car was driven mostly in the California Racing Association, CRA, by Steve Kenneck from 1965 through 1968. At the time, there were no restrictions regarding engine size, the use of superchargers, nitro/alcohol fuel blends, etc.. Steve Kennect was a fantastic qualifier and set numerous track records throughout the state of California.
In 1969, long time Paso Roblan, Lem Tolliver, purchased the Forsyth sprint car. Lem lived in northern California at the time and raced mostly with the Norther Automobile Racing Club, NARC. Lem wasted no time in establishing himself as the man to beat as he was 2d in points in 1970, added the NARC Championship to his resume in 1971 and followed that up in 1972 with another 2d overall in the NARC point standings.
