History

Possibly the two most famous car show awards won over the years by this vehicle, was being judged Best Street Rod in 1979 and Outstanding Custom Rod in 1980 at the Oakland Roadster Shows.

Yes, this custom street rod was created over 35 years ago from a Chevy that is now 80 years old. Even so, it has been driven regularly and maintained by Ken until it was decided in 2017 by he and his wife, Linda, to let go of their prized possession. It has been immaculately preserved and still shows quite well. (While no longer a regular on the streets of Paso Robles, it will remain a part of the community.
