History

Nevin Musgrave was an art student in college. He was also a cyclist plus he had a truck. With that background,it made perfectly good sense to him to create his custom C-Cab Bicycle Truck.

It started with a 1946 era Goodrich woman's bike frame, approved by Schwinn. After building cardboard mockups, he made the fenders and hood from Oak and the dash is made of Birdseye Mahogany.

The brake handle is from a Model T and the wheels are vintage Schwinn S7s. He then converted the wheels tomoped spokes for added strength. The differential is a Sturmey-Archer 3 speed hub with a built in drum brake

Nevin created 3 wax patterns for the bike. The first was for the hood ornament. The second was for his initials and the third was for the headlight brackets. All three were then cast in bronze.

This long term project, or labor of love, resulted in this very unique bicycle.
